Dad's birthday/xmas gift....
It's odd... I never realized how old my dad was until it was brought to my attention by my bro. Color me surprised when he told me that Dad is going to be 70 years old this year. He's still pretty healthy, mind you.. VERY healthy for his age definately. I never really thought of how old he was getting because of that, I suppose.

Without going into semantics and retrospectives, I think I know what the first thing I'm going to do after the credit card debt is taken care of... We're going to pay for dad to go to Korea. First time in almost 30 years, i believe. Well, mom AND dad, technically.... that'd be a pretty asstacular trip to take by one's self. But us young'uns all feel that this would probably be something pretty special for him to get a chance to do this...

I think that the expensive TV and fun stupid crap can probably wait for a while longer... maybe indefinately, really. (considering that school will (hopefully!!) be in the works shortly thereafter) My folks have done a lot for us kids at expense of 'fun' too, so it's only natural for us to do the same every now and then, right?

NOW all I have to do is NOT go completely overbudget in the next 4 months.... EASY. ;-)
