Little ray of sunshine... tennis stuff...

Well, I will say that the tennis this weekend was hilariously fun, and MUST be done again very soon. (yes, i'm talking to you, Akbarses + Samarve... Shivan) I found out i need to improve the following:

a) make sure the point is scored before gloating :-P

b) learn NOT to twist my damned ankle while approaching the shot

c) work on the two-handed backhand a bit more, as that will destroy my enemies if i get a little more accurate with it

d) stay out of the frickin no-man's-land.

HOWEVER--i DID find out the following pluses:

a) volley practice = good

b) a modified kendo stance with your weight on your strong leg = GOOD for mobility for someone with a gimpy twisted ankle.

c) i found a new hobby/form of exercise i ENJOY now. (I was 'pleasantly sore' afterwards)

d) even with a gimpy right ankle, Shiv and I were able to tie up sets against the Akbarses. :-)

That's right, Akbarses--I'm comin out of the boof-ah! I got a fresh can of balls and whoopass for ya! Don't call the 5 straight game streak we had at the end before we called it quits a comeback! Uh.... and... you got served... etc etc ...

(ok, ulterior motive behind the smacktalk is that you'll want to play again to shut me up :-) )
